[WikiEN-l] Advice about an abusive editor?

Some time ago I criticized user:Xed on his/her talk page for insulting a 
notable wikipedian without justification.

Xed responded on my talk page with "Fuck off you little shit" -- you can 
see the brief exchange that ensued here:

Now, normally I reach a point where I am able just to ignore such 
irritants.  But when someone stops writing on my talk page, and e-mails me 
directly, I kinda feel they have crossed a line.  I just received this e-mail:

I'd appreciate it if someone would either calm me down, or suggest what 
kind of disciplinary actions may be appropriate at this point.
