This is not true! I simply did not do this, and I am
outraged by this false claim. Where is this so-called
record of 120 attenpts to circumvent Wikipedia?

Does anyone have any idea of why RickK would claim such a
thing? I checked the log myself, and what he says IS NOT
THERE. If I did this every day, as he falsely claims, then
there would be some 120 records of an attenpt to edit from
my ISP! But as far as I can see, they are just not there.

(Also, I suspect that there are many people who might also
use my ISP. I live in a densely populated area. I DO NOT
have my own ISP; mine is shared with potentially thousands
of other people, which is NOT uncommon.)

Does merely *viewing* Wikipedia count as a violation of a
ban? Are views recorded?

Look, I have some three hundred articles on my Watchlist.
I suppose I could easily have edited all of them over the
last four months at any time, by dialing in through another
local ISP portal. Each separate phone number - as far as I
know - has a separate IP, and would not be blocked. Heck,
I could even have gone to my local public library and
edited my three hundred Watchlist articles from there.

If what RickK says about my intentions were true, then by
now there would be thousands of edits by me on articles I
have always done edits on! (Conservative responsa,
anyone?) So he is claiming that I am not only trying to
violate a ban, but that I am incompetant in doing so! He
thinks that I can't even figure out how to drive to my
local public library and use their computer?

In any case, my free time has been spent on creating an
entire High School science course on Evolution. This was
an unexpected bonus from my boss, who allowed me this
luxury prize; thus under no circumstances would I have had
time over the last few months to work much on Wikipedia
anyways.

Confused as hell,

Robert (RK)
