Yeah, we didn't really want to know about the sordid aspects of
museum operations, did we... The best part is the pious concern
about the "integrity" of reproduction, as if the barbarians outside
the gates are all doctoring photographs, and only the chosen few are
capable of producing a worthwhile image. Of course, if that were
the real issue, it could easily be solved just by digitally signing
the photos they put online. But no, it's just about making money.
