Mentor was just a polite word for what I really meant; something along
the lines of "Corrections Officer", if you catch my drift. I trust Zoe
not to go to undue extremes in such a role.
It is like sending the kid everyone picks on to karate lessons. Lir was
picking on Zoe; by giving her a measure of power, Lir is in a position
where he has to play nice, or bear the consequences.
