[Mediawiki-l] Wrong information on Special:Statistics page and pages index

Hi all

I'm having a problem with the Special:Statistics page. Although there are
many articles inserted, it shows only "1 article". Also if I want to insert
an alphabetical index of articles for a specific namespace (see
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:FAQ#How_do_I_put_an_alphabetical_list_of_links_on_the_top_of_the_category_page.3F)
on top of each page, the list remains empty.

The articles are located in different custom namespaces which were created
as described on http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Custom_namespaces

Any ideas? Thanks for your input in advance.
