[Mediawiki-l] link to an external image

It's not possible to link to an external image in order to embed it on
a page. You can, however, link to the file using the normal URL
syntax; http://www.domain.com/image.gif or
[http://www.domain.com/image.gif image.gif] will allow users to browse
to it.
