[Mediawiki-l] graphviz extension -- can we have this ?

Proposal for 1.5: include Graphviz using the new parameterized 
extension mechanism:

<graphviz layout="ENGINE" float="SIDE">...</graphviz>
     (both params optional, default behavior is same as present behavior)

where the non-terminals:
    ENGINE ::= [ 'circo' | 'dot' | 'fdp' | 'neato' | 'twopi' ] (default 
is 'dot')
    SIDE ::= [ 'left' | 'none' | 'right' ] (default is 'none')

(Please forgive my rusty BNF. Hopefully, you get the idea.)

I volunteer to make these changes when the first 1.5 beta comes out. 
(I'm not sure I have the time to deal with unstable CVS HEAD versions.)

Furthermore, I'd like to see the "float" parameter -- or something 
similar -- become a standard for any extension that produces graphics, 
including EasyTimeline and a raw Ploticus extension I'm working on.
