[Mediawiki-l] categories and orphans

I see no way around this at the moment.

This feels like a feature request to either:

1. Make any page which has a category not counted as orphaned
2. Make a new special page or extension which lists orphans without
listing pages which have categories in them.

#1 probably won't get done, because it would be an influence on the
way things have been done for a while now..  #2 probably won't be done
by mediawiki but an interested party might one day do something like
this.

So yes, you would have to do the hackish thing, which is to make a
page which links to all those "not really orphaned" pages.

Or, your naming scheme could be such that you could easily spot the
scheme in the orphaned pages list.  That would help..
