The Wikimedia Cloud Services team has recently revived their
operational blog hosted in Wikimedia's Phabricator application
(<https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/phame/blog/view/5/>). This
communication channel will be used for documenting operational changes
to Labs, Tool Labs, and other WMCS managed products.

You can subscribe to receive email announcements of new posts with the
"subscribe" option on the "Actions" menu. There is also an ATOM feed
available for those wishing to use a blog aggregator to follow along
(<https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/phame/blog/feed/5/>). Finally the
blog is aggregated along with many other Wikimedia related blogs at
<https://en.planet.wikimedia.org/>.

We will continue to use the labs-announce list to post extremely
important announcements for Cloud Services users. These may often end
up being summaries of blog posts with a link to the blog for more
details.

This change is part of a series of experiments by the team to find
lightweight ways to reach out to the technical communities of the
Wikimedia movement who use the products and services we manage. We
would love to hear feedback from those of you who have opinions on how
we can communicate our plans better.
