[Labs-l] Scheduling outage of bots project

Hi all,

As many of you already noticed we have tool project on labs now, which
is slowly overtaking the bots project as a primary place to host bots
and tools.

However, the plan now, is to keep bots project as a staging area for
tools - that means, the bots will likely become the same what SID is
for debian. The experimental environment, running latest software and
configuration, but being /less stable/ and less restricted. (yes it is
still possible to request root access on bots)

In order to make bots a staging area, we need to make it as much
identical as possible to tools project, one of things that makes tools
significantly different is that the project is running nfs instead of
gluster and in order to switch to nfs, we need to schedule an outage
(setup of nfs and reboot of all servers) that should not take more
than 2 hours.

So I am asking now, what date would you prefer? I suggest some friday
or saturday, because bots project is maintained mostly by volunteers
and these, unlike WMF ops, do have far more time during weekends than
during a work week, but should there be any objection I am happy to
hear it.

I propose Friday 31. 5. - weekend after hackaton
