Hello!
This Friday (11 January) is the deadline for WMF staff to register for the
Wikimedia Hackathon 2019 in Prague. After that point the decision committee
will begin work and we will not be able to accept any more applications so
please make sure to register before then if you have interest in attending.
Please do not register unless you are sure that your manager willing to
support your efforts preparing for the event and your time away from your
day-today work at the event. The budget is centralized, so your manager
does not need to financially approve.

TOMORROW is the deadline for volunteers needing scholarship or visa support
to register, so please consider sending any final reminders to volunteers
who are working closely with your teams and might benefit from attending.
For transparency we currently have 268 partial or full volunteer
scholarship applications and budget allocated to send between 20-30 of them
(depending on how much additional funding is contributed to the process by
various affiliates) so the scholarship committee this year will have a
*very* tough job.

Thanks! I am here to help or answer questions in any way that you or your
teams might need.
This is the last registration reminder that I will be sending out.
