Hello everyone,

Yesterday the UK's House of Lords (unelected second chamber of parliament)
Select Committee on Digital Skills published its report, called Make or
Break.

The report contains a lot of recommendations for the future of digital
skills in the UK. There's plenty in there relevant to our movement and
Wikimedia UK is going to be trying to make use of those recommendations to
promote free an open knowledge as an important factor in the development of
digital literacy skills.

We published a response to the report here -
https://blog.wikimedia.org.uk/2015/02/response-to-the-house-of-lords-select-committee-on-digital-skills-report/
- the link also contains further links to the original report and other
resources.

Thanks and regards,

Stevie
