Do you think an extension like this would be useful/appropriate for
Wikiversity? Would the Wikiversity community show its support for
having it enabled at Wikiversity? (I know no one can speak for
everyone but you can guess... :))
For one of my classes, I did a presentation on wikis. Instead of doing it as
a powerpoint, I actually made the entire series as a set of live wiki pages.
Now, this wouldn't be for everyone, since you either need a MediaWiki
install on a computer/laptop or reliable Internet, but it can work very
nicely.
I can see that it could be something of interest, especially for "live" or
outreach projects, where we people are doing real life instruction.
I'll give it a whirl.
