I'm not sure "Attachment" make more sense in this context. While I know
that
this is derived from e-mail, files aren't attached to MW pages, but rather
linked.
File might be a bit too generic, though, as I think you want the link to
indicate the type of file. Image links actually can render the images in a
page; for some things (audio, video) this might make sense. In other cases,
it might not, such as binary files or PDFs.
That said, if there were MW extensions that can handle alternate files, and
we can find a use for them, we can lobby to have them installed.
