(Also, if one is blocked accidentally, it's not
very
clear how to
contact anybody about it. It tells you the username
of the person who
made the block, but you can't leave a note on their
talk page. You
can't
e-mail them through the "e-mail this user"
function
because you're not
a
logged-in user with an e-mail address set...)
That's why somebody added a link to
[[Wikipedia:Administrators]]
(at least on [[en:]]). Then they find the list of
administrators.
And they can't email mav, and they can't email Ilyanep
...
but they can email me! (And on a few occasions, they
have.)
--------
all right.
I thought it was time I was banned. So I am.
My IP is blocked. So Anthere can't edit any more.
Here's what I saw, the name of the banner (she does
not provide an email address on her page) and the
admin list (most not providing email address on this
list either)
So Anthere went to Tim page, and emailed him a
message. That worked.
Of course, if it is from a loggued-in user with no
email address, and naturally from an IP, no mail can
be send.
Well, I think it is bad, very bad, very very bad, that
blocked users are nearly unable to contact any one,
and usually not the banning sysop himself, since most
people do not give their email in clear.
