If you're not going to use update.php, could you
please use some other
method of making sure you mark files group writeable? Perhaps a umask
command in your login script?
I *have* a 'umask 002' command in my login script. Better ideas (for
working with files in general, not just updating the php scripts) are
welcome if you've got them.
