I suppose there migt be possible to remove Google from action=edit things in the robot.txt? That must be the most effective global way of preventing Google to index action pages. -- Dan Koehl

Could we activate "Show preview before edit box and not after it" for
anons? It seems more intuitive for me (I'm not sure it's even worth an
option).

Not a single are by me ;o)
I always wrote un-logged on the meta.
My guardian angel is a little bit annoying ;o)

I think it would be nice if the Wiki syntax could facilitate
footnoting of articles. For example:
Some text.<footnote>foo</footnote>
Some more text.<footnote>bar</footnote>
Even more text.
could produce the following HTML:
Some text.<A HREF="#1">(1)</A>
Some more text.<A HREF="#2">(2)</A>
Even more text.
<OL>
<LI><A NAME="1">foo</LI>
<LI><A NAME="2">bar</LI>
</OL>

When the load on the machine goes over a certain number, sendmail
takes a break. The changes that Brion made have the load running high
-- over 20. This keeps the website going, but has the unfortunate
side effect of preventing mail distribution.
I'm going to cut the MaxClients setting to 100 for a little while, to
let the mailing lists function for a bit, and then bump it back up.
Hi folks,
I spent most of today getting wikipedia3 up and running on my (currently
private development) server. Functionally, all seems to be working well.
(Given that I'm a PERL and PostgreSQL kind of gal, I consider the working
install to be nothing short of a small miracle!)
My big challenge at present is to figure out how to substantially change
the design of the site. From what I can see, that design is determined by
the combination of the style sheets, Skin.php, and OutputPage.php. It
looks like a small nightmare to fuss with.
Is there some approach that might make it relatively easy or even somewhat
easier?
Oh, and thanks for the excellent software! :-) diana.
