Greetings Maharshibhai,

It is very good that we are getting these books readily available in pdf format. That saves our efforts of procuring the book and scanning it for out projects. All the publishers use DTP softwares and different keyboard layouts, not only that different fonts than unicode, which makes it very difficult to find any compatible files generated in unicode fonts. I have even heard that Gujarati newspaper websites, e.g. sandesh, divya bvhaskar, gujarat samachar, etc. use professional softwares to convert their propritary/generic font system typed content to unicode for their websites. I am not sure whether those softwares are easily available and if so how much do they cost. Also, after getting that, will we be able to extract the content from these pdf files? that is a question.

If there is anybody in this mailing list who knows answers to these questions and/or other solution, please come forward to help us.

Regards,
Dhaval

Gereetings,

Please find attached ebooks from one website. There are plenty of other books as well on it. The fonts are not compatible with wiki fonts. Any idea how can we just make it available? Or should we contact them to get it in other digital format?

Best Regards,
Maharshi
