એકદમ સાચી વાત છે આર્નવભાઈ,QR Code તો સહેલાઈથી તૈયાર થઈ જાય, પણ શહેરમાં તે મુકવા પાછળ ઘણી મહેનતની જરૂર છે. અહિં યુ.કે.ના વેલ્સનું એક શહેર આખું વિકિપીડિયા શહેર બન્યું છે તે તો બધાએ જાણ્યું જ હશે. પણ તેમ કરતા પહેલા જે લોકોએ એ કોન્સેપ્ટ વિચાર્યો હતો તેમને તે અમલમાં મુકતા કેટલી મહેનત પડી તે પણ જાણવા જેવું છે. અને આ તો બ્રિટન હતું, જ્યાં સરકાર અને અન્ય સંસ્થાઓ ઇન્ટરનેટ અને એવી તકનીકી બાબતની જાણકારી ધરાવે છે, જ્યારે ભારતમાં અને તે પણ જુનાગઢ જેવા નાના શહેરમાં સરકારી અમલદારોને ગળે એ વાત ઉતારવી શું સહેલી છે? પહેલા તો આપણે તે કક્ષાના લેખો તૈયાર કરવા પડે, મોટા ભાગના સ્મારકો સરકાર હસ્તક છે, એટલે તેવા સ્મારકોની જાણકારી આપતા પાટીયા ઉપર QR Code મુકવા માટે પહેલામાં પહેલી તે સરકારી એજન્સીઓની પરવાનગી લેવી પડે, એના માટે "મને શું મળશે" પ્રશ્નનો જવાબ પણ આપણી પાસે હોવો જોઈએ, વગેરે, વગેરે. પણ હા, વિચાર ખરેખર સારો છે, અશોકભાઈ મોઢવાડીયા જુનાગઢમાં છે, તેઓ અવશ્ય આ કામમાં મદદ કરી શકે અને મહર્ષિભાઈએ કહ્યું તેમ, જીતેન્દ્રભાઈ પણ રાજકોટમાં છે એટલે તેઓ પણ મદદમાં આવી શકે. પણ આપણી પાસે સૈન્યબળ ઓછું છે એટલે પહેલા જે પ્રવૃત્તિઓ હાથ પર લીધી છે તેને અંજામ આપીએ અને પૃષ્ઠભુમિમાં અન્ય કાર્યોની તૈયારી ધીમે-ધીમે કરતા રહીએ તો સારું.સ્થાનિક મિત્રોના શું વિચાર છે તે જાણવા પણ એટલા જ અગત્યના છે. તો અશોકભાઈ અને જીતેન્દ્રભાઈ, તમે કશું જણાવશો?

Creating QR and taking print outs of it is very easy. But what lies behind is some broader survey like where do we want to install these? Are articles related to the place already on Wikipedia? If yes then which, English or Gujarati? Where would you like your QR to direct EN or GU WP?

Great idea! I remember that people of Junagadh did some Facebook competition also? We should definitely try something if there is somebody locally based in Junagadh. I have some documents from the photo walk we conducted. Maybe we could use that and do a QR code walk. Pranav from Mumbai has experience in QR coding.
