Dear all

I'm pleased to confirm that this year's Wikimedia UK AGM will be taking place on Saturday 15th July at Senate House Library in London.

The detailed schedule for the day is currently being finalised but we will start at 10.30am for networking, sharing, strategy discussions and lunch, with the AGM itself from 2.30 - 4.30pm. Following the AGM there will be a Train the Trainer networking and refresher event, also in the Library, for previous participants of Wikimedia UK's Train the Trainer course.

We would encourage you to come and stay for the whole day, particularly if you are a member and can vote at the AGM, although all volunteers, editors, partners and potential volunteers and editors are welcome. The registration page on Eventbrite can be found here - please note that you will need to register for the AGM and evening Train the Trainer event separately by selecting the appropriate option(s) from the drop down menu. There is limited capacity for both, so please ensure you update your attendance details if you are no longer able to attend.

Any member who wishes to bring forward a resolution for consideration at the AGM must inform the charity, and supply a copy of the suggested text, by no later than Friday 9th June 2017. The suggested text may either be sent by email to the chair of the board at michael.maggs@wikimedia.org.uk or may be posted online at https://wikimedia.org.uk/wiki/2017_Annual_General_Meeting/Resolutions

If you have any more general comments or queries, please email Nicola Furness at nicola.furness@wikimedia.org.uk. Nicola and I will be emailing (and updating the wiki) with further details including the agenda for the day over the next few weeks.

With all best wishes

Lucy
