Round 1 of the Wikimedia Community Fund [1] (for all Wikimedia projects, volunteers and affiliates) and Wikimedia Alliances Fund [2] (for external organisations aligned with Wikimedia movement) is now open. Please consider applying for the funds and encourage Wikimedians with wonderful ideas and initiatives to apply as well. 

Community Resources Team will be organising Conversation hours to develop proposals and be of assistance in drafting of applications. 30 November 2021 is the last date for submitting the applications. Please register/apply using this link [3]. 

We are delighted to welcome User: Tarunno [4] and User: AshLin [5] to the SAARC Regional Grants Committee [6]. They were invited to join the committee by the existing members in recognition of their skills, experience in the movement, contributions to the projects and strengthening the existing committee. Please note that the SAARC Regional Grants Committee will be the decision making authority for both of these funds.
