Hello Manoj and Karthik,
Thanks for your replies and feedback. We are in the process of exiting some of the current languages. This year CIS-A2K is exiting Konkani language. Also, you may find that in our work-plans this year we have included exit plan strategies (such as: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/CIS-A2K/Work_plan_July_2017_-_June_2018/Marathi#Exit_plan_strategy, https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/CIS-A2K/Work_plan_July_2017_-_June_2018/Telugu#Introduction).

In the last one year we have increased our collaboration and support to non-FLA languages. This year CIS-A2K collaborated with Bengali community to conduct Mini TTT and MWT in West Bengal. We are also working with Hindi and other non-FLA Wikimedians. In our TTT and MWT too, we are taking more non-FLA participants. Following pre-workplan community consultation, we plan to conduct regional workshops for the communities other than the FLA (see https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Possible_Mini_TTT_and_MWT_regions_in_India_in_2017-2018.jpg).

The following verticals have been planned and proposed keeping pan-India communities :
Skill building initiatives: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/CIS-A2K/Work_plan_July_2017_-_June_2018/Skill_Building_Initiatives
Global Engagement: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/CIS-A2K/Work_plan_July_2017_-_June_2018/Global_Engagement
Bridging Gender Gap: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/CIS-A2K/Work_plan_July_2017_-_June_2018/Bridging_Gender_Gap_initiatives

Thanks for your valuable feedback and please let us know your suggestion.
Thanks again.

Hi Tito,

I have a general question that when will the project or so called work-plan come out of comfort zone. I mean I have been seeing work only for Telugu, Odia,...... and nothing much for other languages or community.

Regards,
Karthik

Hello,
CIS-A2K is working on the annual work plan for the year 2017-2018. This work plan is drafted based on A2K's learning from last work plan, consultation with community members and institutional partners. The basic structure of the work-plan is ready. We'll submit the plan by 31 March 2017. Please note the official community review will start on 1 April.

Currently we are inviting comments and suggestions from the Indic Wikimedia community members to improve the draft work-plan. Please read these pages and provide your suggestions:

Regards.
