Hey local Wikimedians,
The New York Botanical Garden has a "corpse flower" set to bloom in the
next few days. It's the biggest flower in the world, can be unpredictable,
and only typically blooms once every several years. So it's kind of a big
deal, and I noticed that the most used picture on Wikipedia is pretty low
resolution. Great opportunity to contribute to Commons for anyone who might
want to head to the NYBG. I'm hoping to get there myself, but it's a busy
week and kind of a trek from Brooklyn, so we'll see. Regardless, more
pictures and pictures of different stages = better. Fair warning: its
nickname is because of its famously pungent smell.
