Our next meetup is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 3:30-5:30 pm at the Tenleytown Library, followed by dinner &amp; socializing at some nearby place. <br><br>This is the first official meeting of our proposed Wikimedia DC chapter, with discussion of bylaws and next steps.<br>
<br>Other agenda items include: <br><br>* Update everyone on our successful Wikimania bid, discuss what&#39;s next in the planning process, most importantly including sponsorships and finalizing arrangements with the venue, as well as keynote speaker ideas and media outreach.<br>
<br>* Discuss upcoming activities that we want to do over the summer and fall<br><br>* Update on our cultural institution &quot;GLAM&quot; outreach &amp; collaborations.<br><br>* Eat &amp; socialize afterwards!<br><br>Tenleytown Library (newly built &amp; modern) is located adjacent to the Tenleytown metro station, on the red line, with a wi-fi equipped meeting room for us.<br>
