Reminder that we have a Wikipedia meetup on Wednesday evening. It's 7-9pm (though I will be there early) and we'll do it at Cosi @ Metro Center, 700 11th Street NW (12th & G St NW)
We won't do formal presentations but can do discussions of the agenda topics (or any topics you bring and want to discuss). There's a lot going and plenty to talk about:
* Wikimedia DC, next steps, what do we want and how?
* Wikimedia Public Policy initiative
* Smithsonian collaboration, how's it going, what's next
* Collaboration with the National Archives & FedFlix project
* Discuss about the Wikimedia Fundraiser
* Discuss your topics!
If we want to do weekday meetups again (do we?) we could try it in January and I think we'll be able to get formal meetup space to do presentations. I would love to get Smithsonian people and such to participate, which I think might be more unlikely on a weekend, but who knows???
Next month we can do a social meetup on a Saturday or Sunday, Dec 18th or 19th? is that good for folks? where? (
