I suggest v write both. 1 for the 1000th (the end) and the other for the 1001th (the beginning).

sounds good. I've made two draft pages where we can add the articles for the moment. We can later shift it over to the main article title once we near 999 :)

No preferences which one's 2 b written for which but i'd think the "ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಜಾನಪದ" article will be a good end article to the past and the "ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ" article should mark the beginning of the next 1000.
