hi,

For last few weeks, there has been a surge in number of contributors on
wikipedia. While this is very nice for kannada wikipedia, we're having
certain issues in channeling the rules and terms of wikipedia to the new
users and getting them acquainted with wikipedia.
hence, few requests:

1) Please make sure you donot write POVed articles. Keep it as encyclopedic
as possible. Make sure you also remove POVs that you come across, and make
it as much NPOV as you can. As a kannadiga myself, I do understand the
emotions of fellow kannadigas towards kannada, but wikipedia is meant to be
an encyclopedia where facts are recorded and not emotions or opinions.

2) Please help out writing policies. Help acquaint the new users with the
tradition and rules of wikipedia. Please visit:
