The English speakers usually never even heard of such village.
Romanian/Moldovan sources in English use Malaiesti, while
Russian/Transnistrian sources in English use Malayeshty. :-)
You may be jumping to conclusions. To paraphrase Lazlow, "English" is a big
place. But here's a loaded question, which sources are considered more
authoritative by english-speaking researchers?
