Under this logic, Angela's IP address is public
knowledge and I did nothing wrong. I only used her IP
address to figure out that information. How could I
be blocked solely for defending what I did if this is
public information? Either, Viajero gets in trouble
for resolving my IP address. (this of course is
absurd) or danny gets into trouble for blocking a user
for a reason other than vandalism.

Sysops can not see the IP address of a user, only
developers can. The IP you
send an email from is included in the email, it is
therefore public.
