strange conspiracy theory that has David Gerard, and by extension the
entire Wikipedia Cabal, running WikiTruth as a kind of humor site.
Coming in 2007, Dan Brown's _Jimbo Code_:
"A WP:OFFICE action in the silent after-hour pages of Wikipedia
reveals a sinister plot to uncover a secret that has been protected by
a clandestine society since the days of Nupedia. The victim is a
high-ranking rouge admin of this ancient cabal who, in the moments
before being banned, manages to leave gruesome clues at the scene that
only his grandson, noted vandal Willy von Wheels, and Mr. Treason, a
famed troll, can untangle. The duo become both suspects and detectives
searching for not only Willy's grandfather's blocker but also the
stunning secret of the encyclopedia he was charged to protect. Mere
steps ahead of the ArbCom and the deadly competition, the mystery
leads Willy and Treason on a breathless flight through AFD, RFA, and
the edit history of [[Wikipedia]] itself."
