Um, Dan, I would question the autobiography as being "welcome".  Not unless he has something to offer other than selling baseball bats.

As far as I can tell, Wikipedia isn't looking into
advertizing. We don't need anyone to publicise us and
we have no real need to have a link to us on your
website. At this time, I don't think we would accept
such an offer. You are wecome to write an article
about yourself on Wikipedia, so long as it is strictly
informational and not promotional.
