Does this mean master doesn't get tagged at all?

Re: deleting the existing tags -- please wait with this until Abraham says OK, I am not sure if there are maybe some process that relies on this. He will be back tomorrow.

I think Denny meant that we should use tags just for releases, not that we should not use branches as well for releases.

Agree with you that having 0.9.x style branches are good to have. This is in my observation that common approach taken and is also what is recommended by the Composer documentation. Before we get to the point where this discussion is relevant, we first need to get our stuff together and work on making things releasable :)
