not sure if you are asking for opinions, but here is mine anyway...
I would say that I am fine with having someone else film the "special
footage". From my perspective, I would like to hear and preserve candid
conversation and personal connection, not merely the "performance". For
me, it has always been about the process and the people and not what we
do in front of the audience....
