Big Congratulations to Madge and the Rudes! The two iterations I've seen of Method Gun in Austin were stunning--it's a masterpiece, honestly. It would be heavenly to be in LA seeing the play with Maggie and the Left Coasters (sounds like the name of a band). My Theseus and I would snuggle up and laugh at the latter day Austin Rudes as we laughed at the original ones in the barn last summer. But please, NO EPILOGUE!

Michael, I'll be in LA next month, too--July 10-15--staying with Maggie some of that time while doing a Shakespeare teaching gig at the Huntington. I hope to crisscross with you and others who may be around.)

Love to all of you!
Susan

The Rude Mechs began their run of The Method Gun at the Kirk Douglas Theater here in LA (actually Culver City) last night, and we Left Coasters are now catching up to you East and Third Coasters.  What a great show--so funny and so smart, no surprise considering, but still.  Instantaneous standing ovation.  And I got to see Madge—I am the lucky one—who was positively glowing.  What a wonderful evening.   Made me miss you all.  Isn’t it time for another reunion?
