Another bit of imagery that seems fitting is an excerpt from the fourth folio version of Romeo & Juliet, quoted by Bobby Kennedy to describe his older brother JFK:

Yes, Joy! Like the rest of us, Lizz found her bliss at Winedale. She brought her own flavor to that setting, and she took Winedale with her--far and wide--to everyone she met and everywhere she went. We're so lucky to have had her among us.
Alice's image reminds me of this from The Little Prince, which also puts me in mind of Lizz today:
"In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night . . . And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be content that you have known me. You will always be my friend. You will want to laugh with me."

Great imagery, Dear Alice! Tis a great sadness to lose such a bright spirit though I believe there are atoms of each of us there in the barn. I'll imagine her strutting across the grounds in her boots, shorts, pigtails and cowboy hat.. that mischievous smile, her gleeful laughter, joy of life...and those great hugs.
