Thanks for the very sound advice.  What I was thinking is that I would write the "long" list a note about my intentions and then plan the first issue to send out in May.  For that issue I'd ask various people to write something (e.g., Michael on the films, Shawn or Madge on the NY play, Matt on Lizz,  Alice on Virginia, Maggie on the roses, Craig on the Dell Center enterprise, and so on) and send it to me and I'd patch it together and send it to the long list.  I do not know how to do "newspaper" formatting.  If someone does or has an idea of how to put this together in an attractive form, please let me know.  I was really thinking about a "letter of news" rather than "The Shakespeare at Winedale Newsletter," or "That ol'e Shakespearean rag, yeahhhh."
