Per https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T152907, I have pushed a new release to PyPI: version 3.0.20170403. As you may have guessed from the version number, this is with the idea to essentially to 'timeboxed' releases, where we just push the most recent version from git to PyPI. This means a little less stability (releases may be broken inadvertently), but also means the version om PyPI will be much more up to date.

If you require Pywikibot 2.x specifically as dependency, please take care to specify it as such in your requirements.txt/setup.py.
