The Android team[0] is pleased to announce a new Wikipedia Android app
beta release, v2.5.187-beta-2017-02-08[1]. This revision contains the
following new functionality and fixes[2]:

- Contribute to Wikipedia by editing title descriptions for articles
  that you browse! (Powered by Wikidata, and currently enabled for
  Russian, Hebrew, and Catalan Wikipedia)[3]
- Two-factor authentication support and login fixes
- Improved network performance and offline support for cached page
  previews
- Better multi-window support
- Minor UI refinements to gallery and page previews
- Several major crash fixes

Included in this version are volunteer patches from The Discoverer[4]
and Dinu Kumarasiri[5], and repeat contributors Odysseas Kristalakos[6]
and Kunal Grover[7]. Woohoo!
