API support for uploading a file?

Hi folks. I'm looking through the API reference documentation ( http://wiki.endocardial.com/wiki/api.php). I was hoping that there would be API support for uploading a file to a wiki, but I don't see any such function. Is it possible? Is there any interest in making such a feature available? It's in the works. It should be feasible from the new-upload branch. -Chad

if your using your own instance of mediawiki you can help test it.... otherwise we have to wait until it get merged and deployed.... should be happening ~soonish~ --michael Stephen Gross wrote:

To followup on this: there is a tracking bug[1] that is for items that need fixing prior to merging. Any bugs in the branch should probably be tied to that for easier management. -Chad [1] https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18563

Some of the API helper applications support uploading (they do it by submitting the upload form) See the Client Code section of the wiki.
