Did anyone ever receive payment for their contribution to PGIP Round 1?
Has anyone heard anything from the co-ordinators?

Just looking for an update.

Hi all,

Would people find it useful if I post a link to this list, when an
image is submitted for review?

I can post the link to the image and also the link to its JIRA page,
where comments about quality and accuracy can be left.

I'm happy to do that but will people find the list becomes too "noisy"?

Brianna

Let's see if it gets too noisy!

You can always make a daily post of "today's images" rather than one
message per image.

I'm happy with that - that would make a maximum of 47 emails (50
images minus the three already in review) over the period of round
one which is only for a couple of months.
Presumably, if you sent out a 'digest' update every few days, then
that would reduce the email traffic even further.

My only concern would be that may leave others feeling pressured to finish
the work they accepted, especially as the list of work diminishes.

Yeah it'd be good to get some kind of notice about work being ready for
review.

Besides our first grape, which was of course here
<https://jira.toolserver.org/browse/PGIP-33>, we now also have...

R1-01 - Action potential (animation)
https://jira.toolserver.org/browse/PGIP-26
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Action_potential_video.ogg and
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Action_potential_video_(larger).ogg

R1-02 - Jellyfish

by LadyofHats

R1-16 - Airborne wind turbine
https://jira.toolserver.org/browse/PGIP-42

by James Provost
I think James is a new contributor to the Wikimedia projects so welcome, James.

R1-34 - Photoacoustic spectroscopy

R1-48 - HEPA filter

There is also now a category on Commons which it would be good to put
your images into.
<http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Philip_Greenspun_illustration_project>
and it has an RSS feed:
<http://toolserver.org/~magnus/catfood.php?category=Philip_Greenspun_illustration_project>

Thankyou to all our excellent illustrators so far. Please help them by
providing constructive feedback on JIRA, and inviting topic experts to
do the same.

Thanks for this consolidated update Brianna. Lookin' good with now 18
images either assigned or in review (as far as I can tell).

Is it possible in the JIRA main "issue navigator" page to show the
titles of the assignments as well as their reference numbers?
Currently all I can see is a list of all of the reference numbers
e.g. R116 but I have to look up a different place to see what that is
referring to. Do you know what I mean?

Best,
-Liam
