Perhaps this shows that some kind of commons bot that links or loads the images to flickr might be of benefit to commons traffic as well. Most people dont know what commons is and it certainly doesnt havevthe same footprint on googlevsearches as wikipedia or flickr.

It will be interesting to see if anyone has some answers on how bots
might bias the numbers, though the same can be asked of Commons
statistics. :-)

I do see a fair few people favouriting and commenting on the images.
Checking the last hour, 22 images have been favourited by 3 different
users, so the proportion of passive viewers vs. active users is not
unreasonable.
