In the past week, there’s started to be some really excellent discussion on the FDC. Based on the interviews and benchmarking we’ve completed and our synthesis of input from the discussion on the pages on Meta, we’ve posted a number of updates to the FDC proposal here. It’s much more detailed than the skeleton we pointed you to before, and it has more on rationale for some of the choices that we are proposing be made.
It would be wonderful to have you all give this a close review in the next couple of days. Of course, it will continue to change and improve, and this will happen more quickly with your input!

Folks, there's been some good starting activity on meta. I can't link to it, because I'm on my phone, but if you go to the main FDC page you should be able to find it. User:Smallbones is doing some good stuff there (I think that is Peter Ekman, if I'm remembering right) -- it's not critical that everyone participate there, but if you have time, it'd be great.
