This is great, and very encouraging to see a likely solution here. Can
you please post guidance to admins on WP:AN for how to tag articles
which need to be listed in
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Education_program/Tasks
whether they are being worked on by official WikiEd-onboarded classes or not?

And shouldn't there be a category for suspected plagiarism / copyvios?

The vast majority of the problems I've seen over the past year have
been due to copy-and-paste plagiarism from students whose teachers
have assigned them Wikipedia editing tasks without being a formal part
of Wiki Ed-supported classes. Do you think there needs to be some way
to make a higher-profile outreach to such teachers so they can have
the huge benefit of your formal guidance and materials? And also, with
luck, some way to associate the list of articles involved with editing
assignments with some way for editors and admins to contact the
faculty responsible for those assignments when things are going wrong?
