Hello Drex,

Another way out is to register your nick name. Follow this few steps.

1) Type /msg NickServ register <your email> <any easy password.. you will need it again so remember it>
2) verify your email box and click on the confirmation link in an email sent to you by freenode.
3)get back to IRC and type /msg NickServ identify <your password you previously typed to register>

Note: when you will be using those commands make sure to omit '<' and '>'.
I am assuming u have log in to your IRC client and have a nick name already.
I am also assuming your nick is not registered.

With this you won't have the ban message again.

Also, If you had already registered your nick before, you can go directly to step 3 and no need to do 1 and 2.
